2019 Petite Sirah
Wine pours an inky purple. The aromas are blackberry brambles, chocolate, candied orange peel, and loam. Brawny tannins balanced by a juicy acidity that provides a clean berry forward finish.
For thousands of years, Wintun people have lived in California’s Capay Valley, tending the natural resources and creating eternal bonds with the land. Today, much of this land is planted with vineyards and carefully nurtured crops. The tribal legacy of environmental respect and stewardship continues through the care and nurturing of the grapes in this Séka Hills wine, named for the blue mountains of our homeland. -Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation
